Reportedly, ‘Batgirl’ is such an exciting project, Referring to DC president Geoff Johns and Warner Bros, Picture Group president Toby Emmerich, added “I’m grateful to Geoff and Toby. Everyone who was welcoming when I arrived, and so understanding when there a sexier word for ‘failed’?”. The 53-year-old is best known to comic book fans for writing and directing Marvel’s ‘The Avengers’ and ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’. He also came in to finish DC’s ‘Justice League’ after Zack Snyder was forced to step away from the film following a family tragedy. Whedon created the hit TV series ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ and ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’. This latest headline will come across with another big setback blow. Joss Whedon has dropped out of the Batgirl movie! The Avengers / Justice League director claims the creative failure was actually his own.
Batgirl will remain on the slate of activities in the development movies. It was recently reported that the next wave of DC Films includes Batgirl, along with Flashpoint, the Flash event film. Black Panther is about to kill Justice League entire worldwide box office in just its first week of release. That’s an entirely different universe of blockbuster success.
